Lluest Horse and Pony Trust And What they do.

Lluest Horse and Pony Trust is a small charity running a rescue/rehabilitation centre, with an average of 90 horses and ponies in approved loan homes, and a further 35 or more equines cared for at the trust. Nestling against the Black Mountain in the beautiful Carmarthenshire countryside. The Trust is entirely dependant upon voluntary donations and fund-raising activities. Anybody who gives to this charity will be assured that every penny possible is used on the purpose it is given- to care for the animals. It particularly covers the Swansea and Llanelli areas, some of the worst in the UK for stray horses and ponies. The aim is always to restore animals to full health and find them a loan home, if this is not possible they are assured a safe home for the rest of their natural lives.
I am undertaking a sponsored ride starting in Prestatyn on the 13th August and ending in Sennybridge Show on the the 3rd September. It will take three weeks and I will be covering 300+ Miles with Suzie my 22year old arabx mare rescued by Lluest in 2009

Day 19 - Rhosgoch to Crai

No pictures today!  Bethan extended her day to cover two of her last days.  Ffion Parry rode with Beth today - Ffion is the daughter of Kevin and Delyth who very generously provided Beth and Suzie with overnight accommodation.  Kevin will be judging sheep at Sennybridge Show on Saturday so they will meet up again there.

Beth's final ride will be from Crai to the Show on Saturday where she and Suzie will take a turn around the main ring as well as manning the Lluest Horse and Pony Trust stand at the Show.  It would be great if as many of you as possible could come to the show to give them your support.

Bethan has been away for Three weeks covering 300 miles but it started months ago when she planned the whole trip on her own, contacting accommodation providers, potential sponsors and working out the best route.  IN my next blog I will try to mention and like to all who helped along the way but my personal thanks goes particularly to Traakit for providing a tracking device that allowed us to follow Bethan and guide her when she was lost.  THANK YOU for giving us a small amount of peace of mind.
